
McKay was arrested at the scene for Boating while intoxicated. There were approximately 10-12 occupants of the vessel at the time of the incident. Sheriff David Gould reports that on Augat approximately 6:11 PM the Cayuga County E-911 Center received a call of a personal injury boating accident which had occurred on Owasco Lake in the Town of Fleming. Another vital and important role that Tracie is involved with is her work with the New York State Association of Traffic Safety Boards. In October of 2012, Tracie was elected Secretary of the New York State STOP DWI Association and held that position until 2014 In July of this year, Tracie was appointed to be the Training Coordinator for the New York State STOP-DWI Foundation. Tracie continued her volunteer work between 20 at the State level by becoming a member of the Highway Safety Symposium planning committee in representing New York State STOP-DWI and the New York State Association of Traffic Safety Boards. It should be noted that Tracie’s father, Jack Coulson, was Cayuga County’s first STOP-DWI coordinator. Her STOP-DWI works at the local level begin in 1994 when she was appointed as secretary for the Cayuga County STOP-DWI and Traffic Safety committees. Hired in 1986 by the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office as a jail matron, she then became the records clerk and civil deputy for the Sheriff’s Office.
